If the software can be released by mid-July, a September rollout is doable. Labor day would be good timing - start of the NFL and NCAA football seasons and beginning of the MLB pennant race. One possible problem - how many other pieces of software are going into the GIC boxes that also have to be tested before the box is released? If company Q doesn't release its software on time and GIC has to hold up delivery of the boxes, that would be a bad thing and it wouldn't be our fault. I think that TVGIA is big enough that GIC won't want to hold anything up.

Steve,

Thank you for a detailed and DD'd post!

"Does this mean that ACTV will be the interactive choice for MTV and its parent VIACOM?"

I have been told that there is more to the Viacom situation, you know who Viacom is in control of?

It's an opinion and a rumor, no more than that but I have to say that I agree with the possibilities I have been told about.
