I continue to disagree. When AMD introduces the K7 it will be the first time in their history where there is no outside support whatsoever. There are commitments from chipset and motherboard vendors to introduce future support but at introduction they will be on their own. How can you interpret this to mean "a much better position in the infrastructure community today than at any point since the 486 clone" when exactly the opposite is true?
