Well, I actually thought about it when I said California vs. San Francisco. SF doesn't want him, for sure, because he presents himself as a local boy and thats just plain disturbing to a lot of people. But then since Californians (the entire state) rejected the right so brutally in the last election - especially the family values right, even in places like Orange county - then I felt comfortable saying the entire state. Anyway Matthews might have more of an audience with the Orange County register (or whatever their paper is), so if he goes down there thats fine (just as long as he leaves SF is my position)
