Just wanted to respond to three small points in your post. My CC summary does make it clear that Storage Systems had record revenues. But this does not mean that Storage Systems is the one that is now going gangbusters. It isn't doing as well as components, despite its record revenues.

And the quote of mine that you use "'Very strong growth for host adapter boards as well as other storage components--both ASSPs and ASICs" pertains to the Storage Components Division not Systems Division, so I don't understand how this relates to your point at all. To the contrary it supports my point.

Finally, your quote

"strut go back and listen to c.call comments about how lead times in Storage Systems are longer than semis (much longer) and it will take till Q3 (?) to get the lead times down strut strut strut Heck I remember listening to some 'record' stuff about Storage Systems in the c. call"--is simply wrong.

The reason I know is that I listen to the CC several times to make sure it is as close to verbatim as possible, and I am sure that had someone made such a representation, I would have included it in my summary. Just didn't happen
