ot ot <Last time I checked 2 Mbps was pretty fast.. >

(1) how do they plan to acheive 2 mbps? (2) are they referring to mobile traffic speed or fixed traffic speed? (3) is 2 mbps fast enough for the intigration of the internet, TV, and mobile relative to current bandwidth constraints? no. system intigration doesn't look fruitful until you get to 4mbps, and possibly 10mbps to handle the full, continuous load. Q's current filter system won't handle 1mbps let alone 4mbps. so, they go with a different deisgn; designs that are already in the market but not owned by Q. i'll quit posting on this subject, as this is not the place for it. Q's current system (CDMA2000 as well as CDMAOne - CDMAOne on a fixed basis only, though) can attain ISDN rates (144kbps), but these rates are too slow for current bandwidth needs, but better than current mobile offerings. WCDMA needs at least 384kbps for mobile, and at this speed Q's correlator method is constrained...

Telefonica Celular of Brazil Selects TTI Telecom's
Netrac Network Management System and SS7
Management Solution in a Significant Contract

PETACH TIKVA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 1999--TTI Telecom Ltd. (NASDAQ/NM: TTIL - news), a leading
provider of integrated, turnkey software solutions for telecom service providers, together with its Brazilian partner
CONSTRUTEL PROJETOS E CONSTRUCOES LTDA. (''CONSTRUTEL''), today announced a significant contract
award in which it will provide Telefonica Celular, a major Brazilian telecommunications operator in the Rio De Janeiro and
Espirito Santo states, with a Netrac Network Management System (NMS) for its rapidly expanding CDMA network in
addition to an integrated SS7 network surveillance system for both the analog and digital networks.

Telefonica Celular selected TTI Telecom's Netrac Network Management System (NMS) for a second time, having previously
selected and installed the Netrac NMS for its AMPS analog cellular network. Telefonica Celular is planning to manage both
networks from the same Network Management Center and selected TTI Telecom's system to monitor the operational state, the
quality of service, the performance of their multi-technology network, the configuration of the system and for the capability to
manage the hardware of different equipment providers used in its current networks with security and reliability. TTI Telecom's
NWV-7 module will provide Telefonica Celular with a comprehensive, centralized Signaling System 7 (''SS7'') management
system, ensuring real time monitoring of the entire cellular network, SS7 analysis, early detection of network irregularities, call
tracing, and other highly advanced features to ensure customer satisfaction and superior quality of service.

''We selected the TTI Telecom management solution after investigating all of the leading competitive solutions,'' remarked Mr.
Carlos Alberto M. Martins, Manager of the Network Management Division at Telefonica Celular. ''Being the second largest
cellular provider in Brazil, we manage a complex system with multiple service platforms like pre-paid, voice mail, short
message, etc. with service in multiple geographical areas, so it is critical for us to have a foolproof, dependable NMS solution.
Netrac was found to be superior to all other options, with its proven multi-vendor, multi-technology cellular management
capability. TTI Telecom will provide us with the ability to monitor our network and react much more quickly and effectively to
any network problems that we may experience.''

Meir Lipshes, Chief Executive Officer of TTI Telecom, said, ''After our initial sale two years ago to Telerj Celular which was
subsequently bought by Telefonica Celular, TTI Telecom has continued to become the key NMS player in Brazil. This NMS
system expansion contract illustrates Telefonica's satisfaction with TTI Telecom and our Netrac solutions. Our cost-effective
solutions have once again proven to be vital tools to enable carriers to grow by deploying new technologies and networks.''
