Well in fairness since I know many of you are pro-life, maybe there would be some support for that position here if they refined their message. I think they need a new PR man.

For example remember the state of the union address. They had 2 people Jennifer Dunn and Largent. Dunn spoke on the fiscal (moderate) issues and Largent the values stuff. The problem is I suspect the polls show that some moderates see the values agenda as a negative. The values people are probably positive or neutral on the fiscal issues. The republicans need both of these sides to come together to win, that should have been their objective. OK so mathematically a negative + a positive is a negative. When the fiscal conservatives saw Dunn it was good but the Largent speech turned them off, it was a net negative for this group. The values crowd was overall positive. This was a poor approach. What they should have done was put Largent on and had him talk only about fiscal issues. That would have been a better approach, they would have appealed to both sides with that I think.
