Gregg - regarding Jason's (and others (including me)) not understanding this stuff the way you would want to if you were about to walk in with your Ph. D. advisers for a (so-called) "oral" exam -- maybe this is part of the DHM (deep hidden meaning) behind why we are all comfortable owning Qualcomm, yet a lot of Wall Street is still not "on board."

My own attitude is -- I understand this wireless stuff well enough to personally be long QCOM (up to my eyeballs), BUT ... if I were in a fi-douchebag-iary type position, I would be a little reluctant to be long QCOM in a huge way for my clients.

(My fear being that if QCOM hit a (temporary) "air pocket," and I were asked to explain in detail why Qualcomm is still okay, it would be awkward to say "Well, someone on the SI Qualcomm thread (who is real smart) has convinced me it makes sense ...")

Jon.
