Re:"Stocks only have time value, timing is everything."

What fools we've all been. Focussing on business prospects based on actual certifiable facts when all we had to do is master clairvoyance.

Seriously, there are folks who do study market price and volume actions exclusively and claim that they make very good money by focussing only (to the total exclusion of fundamentals) on good purchase points and sell points (or vice versa if they go short). These folks are usually called technical analysts and some of them are fairly good at it.

However, what you post is neither fundamentally sound (based at the least on erroneous "facts" wildly interpreted to support your bias) or technical analysis sound (basing predictions of future movement of stock prices on prior price and volume action).

I sincerely wish you the best of luck in your investing career, but I have grave doubts that your current methods are gonna be very useful to you or anyone else. Please keep posting how your investing results are turning out. If they are actually successful, I think that would be an excellent indicator to me (of what I leave to your imagination).

If you and I were sitting across the table from one another, I would be smiling at you while simultaneously trying to subtly move all the sharp objects beyond your reach.

Dragonpawn - Did that aphorism pop out of a fortune cookie,
or was it on the curriculum at the matchbook school
of finance and investing? <G>

OT Re: #82593 "INTC should tell investors that it hits dead end on the production of chips and struggling for the other businesses. Otherwise it may get mountains of lawsuits!"

Dragonpawn,

Do you have any reasons to support your claims?

Also, is there any reason why you predicted MS would "collapse?"

Message 9287044

MS was at 78, it's now at 76.

Also, is there any reason why you believe Java will take over MS OS?
(i.e. reasons, not opinions)
