What a mind-numbingly dull day. This range-bound nonsense is like water torture. All one can do is trade.

MSFT is down to the low 76, but it's on low volume, so everyone is waiting on tomorrow's emp #s. I didn't see too many bargain hunters picking up shares today when softie sold off - this whole rate baloney is so annoying, look at the sector rotation; basically the big liquid tech stocks are getting sold off for cash.

For now, it's trading time, though the action is pretty unnerving in this market; speaking for myself, only my QCOM and PFE trades worked out, (lost some $ on DCLK), and I'd warn people off Datek as a broker - I got gypped on CSCO by Datek's servers. The nets really got it in the neck. Poor SFE held the 65 support for the longest time, but when the selling really hit it finally went down big.

Tomorrow should be an amazing trading opportunity. The naz is now so sold off, that any hint of not so bad #s and its off to the races.

Good luck to all MSFT investors/traders!

Morgan

RTev: 1. You are a poor reader. You are so excited about what you are about to say that you don't read the thought that prompts your rejoinder. The operative word is "accused" of.

2.They have plenty of faith in their software writers. That is why they are the preeminent software company in the world.

3. You miss the point. Does MSFT have to wait for the world to run ahead of it to innovate so they can justify themselves to the government.

With your mind set you should apply for a job at DOJ.

RTev - I think the judge is smart enough to know that B. Gates has to say that every MSFT product is numero uno

- The Gov't is saying that even though Netscape's Browser has 40 or 45% of the market is irrelevant, b/c Mr. Gates says that the IE Explorer is going to kick butt

- I think this case has gone on too long & wasted too much taxpayer dollars. Clinton & his whole team are 2nd rate amateurs
