Well my charts showed all the commodities topping a few weeks ago- plus with the war ending you don't have the defense demand that I think may have been one of the main drivers of the rise. Wonder if its time to short the defense stocks.

CB, we haven't spoken in a while, how are you? >>What's going on with steel, why is Nucor tanking>> I was smart enough to short Nucor at 60 exactly a month ago, and dumb enough to punt it for 1+ points a couple of days later. The specialist couldn't stop laughing when I covered. Nucor had gone too far too fast and was at the top end of its trading range. It was way ahead of itself (I considered buying X as a hedge then, with it's dividend, but didn't). Today, there was some news re the CEO? at Nucor leaving. BTW, I can think of lots of better sectors to short right now than the defense sector. (although I have a suspicion that LIT may be short term topping here).
