Mercury Telecom plans to terminate traffic to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Caribbean and Mexico. The DSS 10,000 Switch from Coyote Technologies, a subsidiary of Coyote Network Systems (Nasdaq: CYOE - news), has an installed capacity of 15 million minutes a month and is integrated with a debit card platform from Symbio-Tech. Based in New York City, Mercury Telecom is an emerging CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) that primarily provides wholesale international long distance and pre-paid domestic and international long distance service to carriers.
