Fred, when did I ever say Samsung is not or will not consider VLNC's battery? I simply pointed out that Wolanchuck's claim that the Wireless Week article said Samsung was using VLNC's battery was obviously another example of Wolanchuck hype. The article said nothing of the sort.

I understand why you feel the need to defend the guy though. If anybody has a worse record of VLNC predictions than you, it is Wolanchuck.

Why would Samsung even consider using Hanil's or Valence's batteries?

The better questions are why couldn't or wouldn't Samsung use VLNC's material through Hanil last year when they used li-poly batteries that were so clearly advanced over VLNC material that they were used in retail products and who is the, at minimum 1, company who was that far ahead?

Start hoping Samsung is looking for a 2nd or 3rd source there slick.
