Terry, watch out for Flashnet. I had the service for a year in Austin and it was dogsh*t. Friends have had it and said it was ok. I went to a cable modem and have never had a problem plus the performance is outstanding. I had a seperate phone line and the ISP charge of about $18 that made the cable competitive when I cancelled both.

I bitched and it would get better for a week or so and then back in the dumper. Others may have better experience, just relating mine.
