There are three ways to get treated with an experimental drug.

1. Enroll in a clinical trial if you are eligible.

2. Participate in a Treatment IND ("Treatment with an Investigational New Drug", aka "compassionate use") program initiated by the drug company and approved by the FDA. This is how Genentech made Herceptin available to many patients outside their trial, but before final FDA approval of the drug.

3. Apply to FDA for individual approval for treatment IND. An individual patient can seek approval for treatment for just himself or herself, theoretically.

I was asking if you happened to know whether TCLN had assisted patients under option 3.
