Both Sweeney and Demark show indicators that can be called oscillators. Something that moves back and forth over a limited range. 100s of good and bad indicators can be called an oscillator. They are not constrinted to ranging or trending indicators. You can call trendscope an osc. or RSI one, they measure different things. You would be better off not to lump them into classes but talk to what you mean exactly. I am not asking you to forget about them. I am asking you to be more specfic in your advice or questions. You made a statement that I didn't like oscillators and you didn't see me using momentum indicators. I ask you what was your definition so I could give you an answer, I didn't get your answer. A large number of my indicators are oscillators, a good number measure momentum. The only list I remember giving you was trend determiners. I thought that was the subject of your quiz, since you spoke to determining trend using Stochastics and RSI, I said I didn't use them for trend measuement and provided a list. I ask you if you had tried any of them. You only addressed ADX and gave the 10-15 example. your other quiz was Elder's idea of the 3 things a trader must master. I am sure there are many things written about what traders need to master. You could have presented his ideas and asked if others could have been added to his list. The same results may have occurred and Elder could get credit for his list.
