Has Etrade stopped sending messages to priority customers that IPO will be coming?

Too many shares! Manager Lehman Brothers!
I cancelled my IOI (got in 5:31, got out 6:05)
Gotta be more selective with IPOs. The business is hot but the deal isn't.

Here we go again. Everytime we IOI a new IPO someone calles e-trade to make themselves feel warm and fuzzy about they're late IOI timestamp. Of course the CS rep says "Lottery, Lottery, Lottery" and we all wonder. And every new IPO goes FCFS just like the ones before it. PLEASE lets stop posting this info until we have proof, An IPO that does not get allocated to the first time stamps.

BTW window just closed...

E*Trade IPO Allocation Goes Lottery... I just got off the phone with E*Trade Customer Service...According to the Rep. I spoke to "E*Trade is no longer allocating IPO's of FCFS basis...it is some what like a lottery..." Rep. even had mentioned that this is due to "software" people are using to get an early IOI's...

I'll believe it when several people with 6:00 IOIs get shares and several people with 5:30 IOIs don't. Until then it's just the same wrong uninformed bullshit that the E*Trade reps have said in the past.

There's no advantage whatsoever in going away from first-come-first-serve without advertising it far and wide.
