Just for the Fed to take back what they gave us last year (and to do them before year end to avoid Y2K problems) The selloff in the late afternoon could precede the news that Alice Rivlin is resigning from the Fed. It could be due to Quantum, Altera pre-warns. All I know is that the DOT retest yesterday was too "easy" and too early. And remember we're in pre-announcement period from now till end of June. Rough sailing ahead, I guess.
