MicroOS may not BE a system to prevent piracy... BUT...

If the MicroOS will not allow access to a music file (regardless of it's format), wouldn't that be another way of controlling the situation?

I DO NOT KNOW if it could do that the way it is now...

I do know that it's possible for an operating system to control access to a file.

Just a thought...

IMHO,
Joe

Points 1 and 2 are right on the money, IMO. Also, the possibility exists that MicroOS will become THE standard for Flash memory management in all kinds of devices. This, I think, is where the talk of 30 dollar and up share price comes in. That's a real long shot, as far as I am concerned, but not totally out of the question.
I'll be delighted with the $5-8 range that I think is easily doable
this year. Anything beyond that is icing on my cake.
