I always thought of some one who is a liberal thinker as someone willing to color outside the lines. Definitely a useful characteristic to promote innovation in a dynamic culture like ours. A liberal political position however has come to mean almost the opposite in some circumstances. If you look at Michelle's personal history you would find that she is very prone to conserve the values and traditions of that culture and reject without consideration anything that opposes it. It's interesting that she always gets dumped into the liberal camp. Actually I think she shows very good insight to the conservative position here and I'm not surprised.

Well thats fine George but simply stating that something is illogical (because they disagree with a conservative) is not enough, in my mind to substantiate the claim. And as far as the SUGs, while I admit to doing that, I would put Michael Cummings and Johannes before me in their mastery of that debate "technique". In fact, I think stating that "conservatives will generally jump over...." is itself a SUG.
