Mr.Dowd,

What was it that Mr. Buffet said about "when there's blood
running in the streets"?

CPQ looks like a battleground for sure.

El--- I am not worried,,, just angry with myself for holding on as it was flushed!
If the nonfarm numbers are bad tomorrow the mkt will sink and take cpq with it. If the numbers are good the mkt will rise but CPQ will stay in range. Analysts say CPQ is a buy at this level as the downside in minimal but no one is buying as the trend down is very strong and there is no reason to believe it will change soon. A CEO with great credentials may be good for a point or so--- big deal from here. AV has become less valuable-- look at the Inuts off their inflated highs-- so possibly another point. Like 25 would make me happy with an avg of 38+. Rosen may not have enough changes in place this soon to know where they are financially and not be able to prewarn,, just report and I agree those numbers may not be that cheery either. Mikey Dell has said it in national press--- CPQ is down and vulnerable. He and every other company is out to take advantage of the situation and take mkt share. If we see the teens I do not see 30 in the next 12 months. There is just no compelling reason to buy this stock when many other issues are making their owners money and CPQ ranges 55% off its high and no change of direction in sight.
