Jim, Actually, I've got my own suspicions. I can understand your point about the negative tick and Indexes going up. However, I believe the employment numbers are leaked. Thus, while John Q. Smart's money is going flat in front of the numbers, the money in the know is buying with both fists. Will see in the morning, but just an observation over the last few months. I was watching the OEX on the 5-min chart in the middle of a series of indecision pennants. It broke the base about 3:25 or so. I started closing some positions until about 10 minutes later, it came back thru the base. I thought, okay, they've tipped their hand; let's stand pat and watch. BWDIK Berney
