Doug,

I don't know if I'd call the Rand novels, "easy to read" since I needed to have a dictionary nearby the first time I read them (have read them a few times since) BUT they as well as others PROFOUNDLY changed my view of the world. I've actually known several people, teachers included who have told me that "Atlas Shrugged" was just too complicated and difficult to get through. That sort of comment always amazes me, because if I can read it not just once but several times then surely a teacher could. Now if we could just get the masses to understand that government is nothing more than organized force (and fraud these days)... I'd also highly recommend "The Market for Liberty" by the Tannenhills (I've forgotten their first names).
