Recoil the same foot pounds as a .22 short at the muzzle. The .460 California bred was a nose breaker. Saw where H&H has a .700 Nitro out. Double barrel but single shot as no one less than Hulk Hogan can hold on to it. $100 per round. On the other hand I have a .223 Weatherby that is a delight to shoot. W.D. Karamojo Bell shot a bunch of elephants with a standard 7mm. Place 'em right and you don't need fast mass.
