What negative bias against Chinese Americans? As for the Chinese themselves a government which runs over its own citizens with tanks in the middle of the night, forces abortions and uses slave prison labor ought to be looked at a little negatively I'd say. Now if there was spying and it seems pretty clear there was and if the spies were of Chinese origin or were employed by the Chinese government, I'd call them Chinese spies. What exactly would you call them? Comparing GWB's "read my lips" or the over grown policy dispute which came to be known as Iran Contra is just plain silly. Reagan in particular was never charged or indicted nor was any referral made. The evidence was inconclusive at best. Bush's gaffe was a political miscalculation which does not compare on the scale of numerous confirmed lies emanating from the current WH. Can't say the same about Clinton can we? He's a confirmed liar and perjurer who's been sanctioned by a federal court. Time will tell whether he will face federal indictments as well. The Cox report seems well done, thorough and deliberative. The Clinton playbook is already being put into use and Mr. Cox is being smeared as a partisan ideologue by the WH and its allies. That's what you really ought to concern yourself with. We all ought to want to find the truth of this matter. If the Bubba maladministration's previous history (as in Monicagate) is any indication, that's the last thing the WH will allow to happen. JLA JLA
