>>>Are you concerned that the rush to online Banks, Brokerage, Mortgaging, Insurance, etc will cause these new entities to compete with or create too much competition for Checkfree???

Not at all in the least...this has been what Checkfree has needed for sooooo loooooong. For these Powerful Financial Institutions to move out on the Web and Compete/War for you and me...the Consumer.

That's what they built the Genesis Computer Platform for....Man hindsite is 20/20...and they saw this onslot of new users coming years ago...and built the beginning then....Genesis has the Power to Scale to 30 Million Households...they're at less then 10% capacity now.

Scale is where it's at here, they can't compete with CheckFree unless they grab the volume. To grab the volume, they need the contracts & contacts and the ability to rapidly scale. The Georgia Beast, Genesis..is the low cost producer....and it seems to me whatever they are making now on volume...they are plowing it right back into scale. Genesis is the beginning.
