There IS no Y2K problem. That is something the media dreamed up. All has been solved. I am reminded of an earthquake prediction for the New Madrid fault in December 1990 by the late Iben Browning. (The New Madrid fault is in the Missouri bootheel, caused several huge earthquakes in 1811-12.) You would not believe all that went on in St. Louis because of that prediction: people storing up water, etc., plus anchoring hot water heaters to the walls (guilty of this only), emergency plans by schools, pupils asked to have water/food supplies on hand at school, etc. Even the USFSA got involved! We were scheduled to hold Upper Great Lakes here at that time, but some clubs complained to headquarters, and changes were made! Ridiculous! Barnum was right.
