Rainier, on the subject of risk reduction there's the sleep (or lack of) factor. Seriously, I went to another univ my Sr. year to take the LSAT. Stayed with some frients the night before. Went out to eat (nothing with any CNS acting agents) stayed out too late (they drove) after eating too much great pizza (full stomach) Effected my test next day.

If you're a light sleeper (as I am) you may wan't to pack a white noise generator (hotels havea lot of variable noise) also, upper floor helps - nobody walking on the floor above you.
