DMI definitions . . . .

iqc.com

The technical picture is not very pretty. What is worrisome most to me is the large volume the last two days. Some have mentioned "big block" buying, but that was not apparent on Time & Sales. However, both RSI and stochastics are suggesting AWRE is oversold and perhaps due for a technical bounce. AWRE tried to rally in the afternoon, but it was aborted in the general NAZ selloff. If the numbers come in worse than expected tomorrow, ouch!

estimates of time frames can be achieved by using trendlines extended into the future. if a stock is to remain in an acceleration, whether downtrend or uptrend, the trendline would be the guide to timeframe for a target. most technical analysis packages allow the trendlines to be extended into the future by adding space to the chart. so in awre case a long term line across the tops 4-13 and 5-20 would be one extension, by running that line down to 25 you would determine an estimated date...another more accelerated trendline would be to connect 5-20 to 6-1 in the same manner.
the 56pt ta thread is an excellent technical analysis thread, anyone that is interested in technical analysis would learn alot by following several very knowledgable posters there.
