The TA will first send out the dividend to registered shareholders who called in their certs, then they will issue the dividend to the preferred, and finally, when the accounting is done and everything is squared up, they will issue to dividend to people who hold their shares in street name. This last item is the squeeze. This is not like a regular short squeeze. the problem here is that anyone short will either have to come up with non-trading shares in a private company (Medinah Gold), or make a cash settlement to legitimate shareholders who have their shares in street name, or take their chances in court. If there is a huge short position, especially an illegal short position, one way or another, you, as a shareholder, will win. And the case for a big short position still looks good to me. The accounting by the TA will tell us for sure. They should be working on this right now. I am hoping we will get our answer very soon to settle this issue of whether or not there are shorts. I would bet there are! --Coz
