ATHM/AOL/T/UMG - panic and opportunity:- The incredible sell off in ATHM today was the result of a decision in Portlant OR that might lead to open access of other ISP to T/ATHM's cable modem system. I think it is one of the great opportunities of all time to buy into a great company, ATHM, at a discount price. Whether T/ATHM has to open their system or not, is not really the issue. It is the superiority of cable system over other access systems. that is why everyone (read AOL) wants it so badly. I don't wish to go into ADSL and DSL arguments here at this time.
