Mark: From a trading perspective, that post of Larry's appears to have been a pretty good call.

Just because people like Larry change their minds about a stock's short-term or long-term outlook doesn't really justify calling them "two-faced", "disingenuous", "King of Circular Logic", "noway", "lapdog", etc.

What next? Perhaps an "evil, Canadian short"?!? ;-)

<<One thing Larry can't understand is Valence has been "ready" to go to market a number of times the last few years, but market dynamics, R&D developments, OEM's idiosyncrasies, and production techniques have evolved at critical junctures delaying the launch.>>

If by this you really mean that VLNC has not been able to mass produce a product that meets the specifications of the market over the last few years, I agree with you.

If you are trying to suggest (as FMK did some time ago) that VLNC could have gone into production in early 1998 but chose not to while they (1) almost ran out of money twice, (2) were forced to secure floorless convertible financing, (3) allowed their competitors 18 months to catch up (or get a head start), all this during a period of substantial price reductions and performance increases of competing products,...if you really buy this argument then you are even dumber than I give you credit for.
