It may just be a weekend dissemination with the release hitting the wires Monday morning. I am all for disseminating after the market close...let those shorts have a ROUGH weekend

An to think, only a few weeks back there was a whole lot of complaining that news is promised but didn't come out! We have come a long way baby!!

Let us not debate the pros and cons of timing of news. It is the news of what is happening and the steady flow at this time that is working to favor of us all! That the news is coming out regularly is a credit to IR Dave because of his push on the company and his diligent work to get the stockholders the information as soon as possible.

We have seen a correction the past two days but it is the correction to the correction that I am most enthused about. Just my opinion.
Regards to all, Skip

I vote for Friday after the bell. Here's an excerpt from a post from RB, with which I concur :

NEWS FRIDAY AFTER CLOSE IS THE BEST WAY TO GO!

They could always repeat it Monday morning, but this gives the hype a chance to build full-steam over the weekend, rather than hit people Monday morning when they've already placed their orders for other issues.

I've done PR, and the results are far better Friday after close than Monday morning. I've also been the happy shareholder of a company that released news Friday after the bell, and closed at $8 yet opened at $28 on Monday.

Their discovery was on the news all over the world for the whole weekend.

News being wasted on Friday is an absolute myth.
