Rivlin is a well known dove on interest rates. Her resignation will not help. I don't think it will hurt that much either. That is one less powerful dove to vote against an interest rate cut.

Chinmoy, as Steeney said, I think the market has priced in a cut and Rivlin adds a couple of percentage points of probability that the Fed will raise rates....but not a major event.

I think Rubin is going to get away from Treasury and the Fed....to make some money? ...become Pres of a University? ...just something else.

IMHO
