Hi E. EIEIO. Uhm. I really hate opening my mouth, even for tofu. Now I will get performance anxiety. Okay, I'll try to think of a good recipe.

Yah. Performance anxiety. I'm serious, of course.

A little like recommending a stock, you know.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS,
and if I were not the bravest hooman on SI
I wouldn't even admit it,
but sometimes I chop up some firm
and heat it in the micro
drain the water and
dump on some soy sauce and
fresh worchesture and just eat it.

Veggie worchestishure, o'course.

I'll go look at the bottle
and see how it's spelled.

My spouse never eats it that way.

But I'll see if I can find you something.

And if you don't like it I will kill myself
or you or never speak to you again.

It's Worcestershire.
"Angostura" brand is tastalicious
without the anchovies.

cook chopped onions in olive oil (preferably garlic olive oil) take off heat mix with feta cheese and a little crumbled tofu (I use 2/3 feta (herbed feta) to 1/3 tofu) - stir into orzo along with diced tomatoes, black olives (kalamata are good) and lemon juice to taste- I also add a dash of lemon oluve oil. Also Tofu enchiladas are muy bueno.

Tofu scramble. Saute onions in oil, when they are done, crumble in well-drained tofu, season well with a lot of turmeric and cayenne, plus other seasoning to taste, and saute until the tofu is heated through. Tofu doesn't have much of a flavor, and I really like turmeric. Or you could use curry powder. Or you could buy packaged tofu scramble seasoning at a health food store, that's the best.

This is much, much better if you saute fresh spinach in the onions, and then put that to the side, and then scramble the tofu with the seasonings and mix the spinach back in before you serve it. Scrambled tofu florentine.

Serve with biscuits or french bread toasted.
