My trades can be day trades or multi-day trades but are based on a bit of TA. I love to short technically over extended stocks (above upper Bollinger Band and with stochastics and/or RSI up above 70 or 80). Conversely, I look to buy oversold stocks where they have fallen below the lower Bollinger and RSI/stochastics is in the 20-30 range. For example, when CSCO moved to 120 after earnings I shorted (and covered way too early) and made about 4 points. Same with IBM after it went to the 240's (pre-split). I take relatively small positions as I want to allow some movement against me without getting shaken out. And I also don't want to risk large losses as trading is my source of income.

Whatever works for you. There are countless ways to trade. What works for me may not work anyone else.
