Not fresh news but, how much would SLUP make on 75000 tons of work?

EWK gets a dollar per ton in royalty, and is now getting royalties from a Vancouver project and also from a second Boston Artery project, which is now under way too.

Second of several more? Perhaps all 13 million tons is lead contaminated. After all, Spenser P.I. lives in Boston and he throws a lot of lead around.

This from the EWK page:

"Solucorp Industries, Ltd. has been awarded a contract to stabilize hazardous lead contaminated soil on-site at the Central Artery tunnel project in Boston, Mass. The contract was awarded subsequent to a successful demonstration of Solucorp's technology in December, 1998.

Under the terms of an agreement between the Company and Solucorp, the Company receives a per ton royalty for any material treated with Solucorp's MBS® technology. The Company expects to receive approximately $75,000 in royalties from this first contract.

The contract is expected to be the first of several contracts stemming from the Artery project. Current estimates indicate 13 million cubic yards of soil will be excavated over the project's life span, with a yet undetermined quantity expected to contain hazardous metals."

All this accumulation talk remind Cigar of favorite John David Souther song:

I've been pushed round
I've been kicked down
When will I be loved?

Cigar look at Big Dig in Boston every day. Cigar look for long time, since traffic by Big Dig on hold til next millenium or two. Cigar see is really big dig. It is probably really big, really dirty big dig (them Pilgrim wasn't so clean after all, no matter what Ms. McGillicutty taught in third grade). Cigar think contribution from Solucorp disappear faster than clothes off June bride ('tis the season).

If Hugh is Boston pol, is good sign he buy. Big Dig contracts go on forever, with CPI increases quarterly. Friends of Cigar already retire on profits from Big Dig, and Dig ain't half Doug yet.

But Big Dig announce, Slup still lay around like fat old side of salmon on buffet. No life, just a little less after every celebrant walk by.

Cigar no discouraged, tho. Been down so long it seems like down to Cigar. Cigar know better things coming.

So do JD Souther(the saddest man in world who is not slup investor):

JD sing:

Just give me weed, whites and wine (Cigar mom attest Cigar have no idea
what this mean...)
and you show me a sign
And I'm willing
To keep slupping...."
