You ain't seen nothing. When the stock market decides to decline, you won't be waltzing around gladhanding and looking to treat others well. You'll want to kill the bastards. This is the result that comes from doing what you're doing and that is talking yourself into some "I'm ok" state. It won't work. You haven't got a clue about what the stock market can do to your own concept of yourself. When you have been around for 15 years or so, then you can tell me about how I should behave. Right now you are a rank beginner, a third class sucker, and you will learn all about what a wonderful thing it is to lose. I hope you don't hit your students in reaction. Look to put a hole in the schoolroom wall instead.
