I'm not terribly troubled that Pete Kight and some others have decided to sell substantial parts of their holdings, but it is important that this thread be realistic. Even if Kight and others are using some of their proceeds to exercise options, thus keeping their number of shares more or less constant, they are still disinvesting. That is, they are reducing their per cent of the ownership, and they are to some extent preferring cash to CKFR stock. This has to say something about the combination of their expectation about the future value of CKFR and their personal need for diversification. I assume that it is primarily a matter of prudent concern for diversification. If CKFR is going to do half as well as we expect, selling shares would be much less than the optimum way to acquire cash for personal expenditures.
