I suspect that when a lot of this analysis was done it was a while ago.

Few people realize the amazing wealth in the bay area.

It would not surprise me if there are not 20,000 to 50,000 millionaires maybe 100,000 in the whole area. And a lot of ordinary folks who have just seen it thru real estate.

The unfortunate thing is that still doesn't buy you a particluarly nice place to live - if you want to live in the toniest area's.

C'est la vie.
