Last year SUNW's stock was trading at $45 per share and even with todays dip it is selling at $110 per share on a split adjusted basis. I will take this type of return anytime.

SUNW has dipped with the rest of the NAZ and because of the uncertainty of Y2K. That aside, SUNW is one of the best technology companies in the landscape and will prosper in the future.

SUNW management predicts that company will double in size in the next four years; with internal growth. Thats about 20%+ growth a year. I am happy with that steady, long term strategy and do not see much downside risk; sorry James.

P.S.: To compare SUNW with DELL is not a good comparison. SUNW has novel proprietary technology that can and is being used in the new netcentric environment and DELL uses other peoples technology that is used in the old PC environment. To compare the two companies chart patterns is negligent, IMO.

Bob.

I must check the market & then I will chat with you. Whenever the market turns against me BUTT I don't want to drop any stocks, I go play at The Coffee Shop and in the garden whatever.

I must admit for the past couple of years I worried about Sun but even though I worried, I could not find a reason to sell.
