I admit confusion about the record date and what implications it has, or does not have for stock held in street name. Won't June 14 be just another day, with no particular importance attached to it? The real significant date would be the "ex-dividend" date fairly close to the offer date. Can someone shed some light on this? TIA.

SFE should put together a good rally today. I'll look to put back on another short around 68.
