funny! a poster on yahoo made a slightly positive note on HJ's speaking skills as he reminded us to think of Ross Perot--another great entrepreneur who lacks charisma and good speaking skills.

HJ is a visionary and hardworking guy who created a billion dollar company out of nothing, and came up with creative ideas like callback.

IDT's story is very similar to Howard's business story: a rollercoaster with lots of ups and downs. Each time the company goes down, he finds a way to bring it up.

This could be great for stockholders who buy on dips and sell on highs. Imagine how much money you could make in the past 5 quarters, had you buy on teens and sell on twenties and then buy back at teens!! On the other hand, for those us that are not traders, this rollercoaster can be stressful and sometimes we wonder if that justifies the investment.

Howard is a straight forward person, and in my opinion his speech reflects his state of being. I have listened to their past 4 or 5 conference calls, and only in the last two I have heard the ums and the ahs where they did not make the numbers. The ahs and ums will go away as soon as his perception of the company changes..
