Many of us, myself included, have suggested openly that various brokerages were directly manipulating AMZN stock and options. You'd think by now somebody here would have been sued for libel.

(the reason why we have not been sued is pretty obvious)

As far as I can tell, the short interests were close to the float numbers as early as Feb/Mar/98. Why did "they" short??

I think that the early shorters got squeezed, got the picture, kept quite, piled on to the long side, all the way to the end.
