edamo, what i found curious about this upgrade was the target of 86...that's roughly the same target the most bullish analysts had a few mos ago before all the rubarb about pc slowdowns, y2k probs, margin issues, blah, blah, blah...(smoke & mirrors)

they are getting ready to buy big again imo...let's hope so...donnie deserves a vacation :)

cheers, GRANOLA

P.S. NOW CNBC IS SAYING INTC WASN'T UPGRADED...JUST "SPOKEN ABOUT +'LY..." WHAT INCOMPETENCE! BUT THE TARGET IS STILL $86...MY OPINION (ABOVE) REMAINS THE SAME...

Do I hear the rumblings of another Sector Rotation this time back to the techs? The Nasdaq is stronger than the Dow today for a welcome change. Someone on this thread sprouted the theory that the Big Boys are trying to induce sector rotation to churn a lot of stock and make up the commissions lost to internet trading. Makes sense in a conspiratory kind of way.
