Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group
Lucent Microelectronics Group incorporates Aware's DSL-Lite technology and software in its DSP 1690 WildWire PC modem chipset. This is the first PC modem chipset for high-speed Internet access incorporating both V.90 and DSL-Lite technology. Lucent's Microelectronics Group is the number one seller of chips for modem-equipped PCs in North America, with more than 40% market share, and includes as its PC OEM customers Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, NEC, Sony and Toshiba.
