just sold some jan00 35 dell puts for 6 3/8...18% return in 7 mo's

It's even better than that. The return is 6-3/8 over (35 minus 6-3/8) or 28-5/8. So it's a 22.2% return, and that's with 100% of the cash requirement if you get assigned. Not bad.
