For a change, I thought Kudlow was talking out of his "hat" this morning, too. I, also, agree with a previous poster who said, 'in the near term we are unlikely to see under $14 barrel crude stick.' Kudlow's comparison of oil to gold as a gauge of inflation pressures is flawed, imo, too. But it does somewhat haunt me that Kudlow's nemesis on CNBC, Jimmy Rogers, is on a world tour, and we all know how pro natural resources he was back when and Kudlow was consistently negative. Rogers has taken a hike on someone's money (short???) and, in hindsight, Kudlow was right in 1997. He could still be right OR he may be about to follow Jimmy on a luxury ground tour around the world and is just raising the cash for it. Bottom line is I wouldn't discount the "Lawrence of America" Kudlow too much.
