Your argument sounds convincing. But I don't like to fight the Fed.
Last year the Fed started easing in September, and six months later the stock market is up big. Now the Fed starts to tighten, what do you think the market will do?

very well explained. YOu sure your degree is not in econ instead of psych. I think Fed is only worry about equity inflation, or actually possiblity of market crash that could kill the economy. Inflation is pretty much tame. They are just trying to slow the stock market rise and dampen the selective bubbles like the internet sectors.
