Pointless perhaps, but not quite. Don't know if you are teasing or not but I will rise to the bait. This part of your post is totally wrong:

<<<<<<<<< ..it seems the trial was not exactly run at all times with rigid observance of the protocol. Some who died were given Neuprex even though they weren't in the trial? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

No one who was not in the trial was given Neuprex nor a placebo.

There is by the way no doubt in my mind that XOMA followed the trial design very strictly. If my previous post asking about the four who died gave a wrong impression I am sorry. I thought I was saying I was not sure about how the "4" fit in and I had asked XOMA to fell me in and when they did I immediately posted the how and why the subject of the 4 came up.

I am through speculating about the 395, the 62, the 34, the 4. I am back to what does opalapril mean? So you see not all speculation is endless, just some!

Just heard Murphy on KWHY-TV in L.A. touting XOMA. He said that if his figures are correct that only 3 died that were on the drug vs. 60 on placebos. I hope I got those figures right, because my phone rang and I could only listen with one ear. (g)

Can anyone who subscribes to his service confirm that. He did sound like he expects our stock to soar and soon.

Opalapril, have you sold out? Remember your promise. Have you and Bluegrass gone away together or are you really both the same person?

Interesting how all the world, with the exception of some of the more competent S.I. posters, loves a stock that's going up. All the years of suffering and wondering were for naught. Or were they? Don't feel I could have increased my position without all the agony and anticipation and what I think, at least passes, in my mind, for understanding.

Wondering when we see some balance. The Newbees calm down and XOMA, while not getting a ringing endorsement, at least gets some respect or even just notice from many biotech experts here at S.I. that seem to be acting like nothing has happened.

Critical posting mass has shifted to Yahoo. An event I find more surprising than the rise in XOMA.
