LoD: BancBoston Robertson Stephens makes some new comments in their weekly Web Report that was released this afternoon. Here is what Keith Benjamin had to say about Net Perceptions...

<<NET PERCEPTIONS - NETP has developed recommendation engine software
which it uses as a foundation for specific products aimed at various
selling and marketing functions across multiple Web applications. NETP
in essence creates a “virtual shopkeeper”, that learns what products a
customer likes/dislikes and makes appropriate recommendations in real
time. We believe Q1 will again demonstrate the strength of the
company's core eCommerce product. Looking forward, this appears to be
an inherently profitable model, with rapid customer growth and new
products potentially enabling the company to significantly exceed our
estimates. We believe the company is defining this new function with no
clear competition. As an indication of its emergence as the standard,
NETP recently announced a partnership with NetGravity to integrate its
recommendation technology with NetGravity's advertising serving software
for customers in common. We believe NETPs' technology can be applied to
other services, providing a base for expansion. We believe the
company's opportunity has not yet been reflected in the stock price.>>

Hmmm......I see a GREAT upside with this stock. I have done my DD and am very comfortable making NETP my largest position. It's amazing how much fear there is on this thread. Folks are wondering about NETP's future and doing all kinds of speculation. A professor once told me that Fear is FALSE education appearing real. We seem to have some individual investors and institutional investors that really don't understand or appreciate this company. IMHO, that will change. I'm sure you remember DELL in early 1996. It was not followed too closely and not appropriately valued. This misunderstanding in the market created quite a buying opportunity <GG>...The rest is history. I know that DELL is a different type of company than NETP but timing can be very important when one makes a large bet on a high potential stock. I really feel that NETP has much stronger fundamentals than many of the new internet stocks. It is also very attractively valued. If the company executes like I believe they will, NETP could easily command a multi-billion dollar market cap. I plan to be on board for the ride. Patience could pay off with this investment -- in a BIG way.

Enjoy the weekend.

Best Regards,

Scott
